Hello and welcome. Thank you for visiting. I'm Rob French, I'm an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist working in person in Angel / Kings Cross, and online. I also teach humanistic counselling at the Gestalt Centre.
I can work with you to address a specific difficulty, or in a more general, 'self-development' way, based on increased awareness.
I will be able to help you if you want to resolve a particular issue; need change but feel stuck; experience anxiety, depression, lack of self-worth, perfectionism, addiction, loneliness, recurring patterns in work or relationships, and so forth; or if you are interested in increased contentment and fulfillment through deepened self-awareness.

About me:
- Originally trained in Gestalt therapy, I now work integratively, with many influences, particularly the person-centred approach, body awareness work and trauma theory.
- I have over 15 years experience working in the NHS, in private practice and as a teacher of humanistic counselling.
- To locate myself- I'm a heterosexual, cisgender, white man. I engage in the life-long work of increasing my awareness around equity, diversity and inclusion. I have experience of working with many people across the diversities and am ally to minority and oppressed groups and people.
- I'm accredited with the UKCP and registered with the BACP. I abide by their codes of ethics.
- My main qualifications are: Ba, PGCE, Ma, Postgrad. Dip.
- I charge £65 - £80 depending on the time of day, whether we meet online or in person, and your financial situation.
- I'm originally from an arts background and worked as a furniture maker and DT teacher before becoming a therapist. I'm married and am the father of twins.
